ABOUT US

We designed the ELI Personal Development Course© to: 1) Empower matriculants to bridge the gap between high school and tertiary institutions. 2) Prepare first-time job seekers for the labour market. 3) Provide entrepreneurs with opportunities to start their business. 4) Inspire emerging leaders to pursue their life’s purpose.

Jesus

Although the ELI Personal Development Course is primarily for youth aged 18 to 35 years; its Course Content attracts applicants beyond its target market. Graduates include university students, an industrial psychologist, an attorney, management advisers, ministers of religion, sales executives, and homemakers.

Jesus

They all have one thing in common – the intrinsic desire to reshape their self-esteem; communicate effectively; set achievable goals; release more hidden potential and to market themselves as unique individuals!

The Emerging Leaders Institute is your passport and gateway to this life’s destinations

TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS: Although college and university admissions demand disciplines of independence, research, critical thinking, etcetera not all matriculants are equipped to meet these requirements.

Jesus

In fact, about a third of first-year students are unprepared for the giant-leap to tertiary institutions! Besides financial challenges, they haven’t mastered skills of personal discipline, goal-setting and planning, independence, effective communication, time management and a positive self-image.  is it any wonder why we have a 40% drop-out rate of first-year university students?

Jesus

BUSINESS: Some emerging leaders are gifted as entrepreneurs and need business opportunities to connect with the relevant stakeholders. Lack of access to mentors, funders, business plans and opportunities, frustrate their plans and stunt their growth.

Jesus

EMPLOYMENT: According to Professor Ihron Rensburg, the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Johannesburg, the National Senior Certificate is losing its value. He urged school-leavers to equip themselves with further qualifications before trying to enter the job market with just matric in hand.

SOCIAL LIFE: As social beings, we can’t survive without family, friendships, relationships, work and business networks, connections, and comradeships.    Even so, a lack of effective interpersonal relationships could isolate an individual and cause failure in relationships, friendships, work and business.

There’s a skill to connect with strangers, widen your friendship circle, influence people, unleash your hidden potential, increase your income and discover your true purpose in life!  We’d be glad to accompany you on your journey of personal discovery!
